1956 Church Place, side of St. Mark's Church showing on right. The two Dr. McAnallen's lived and had their surgery in one of the big houses on the left. The detached square building top left was Church Street School, now belongs to St. Mark's Church and called Fergus Hall. Behind the Church in Church Lane is Gaynors Snack Bar, a popular meeting place for the youths of the sixties, it is still there. |
