St. Patrick's Church, William Street

St. Patrick's R.C. Church, William Street, 1850.

St. Patrick's was built in 1835.

This photograph is remarkable, it's the oldest on this website.  Remembering that photographs which could be produced by the negative-positive method so that any number of positive prints could be made from the master negative only came about in 1840,  We owe thanks to the inventor, W. H. Fox Talbot.
