Thanks for the note, Jim. Nice to hear you are aware of my family... let me know if you, or anyone else, has any good stories about them! That was my elder brother who was in the Guinness book for some of his travelling activities.

Hello: Do you know if there are any pictures of Corbetts Drapery shop, especially inside it, or of the staff from 1950's-1960's period? My father worked there for many years, Thanks!

Hi Colum, I am grateful for your reply re. Margaret Gallagher. Some years ago I located the grave myself, and have visited it a few times recently, but, I just wanted to know are any of her family still living. I believe she had two sons, one who I think was a priest somewhere ( I think maybe Drogheda). She died in her fifties and after that there was no contact with the family. Many thanks. liz

I'm the son of Robert Henry McKee student of the Portadown area he was born April 11/1934 He had a family farm in Armah which was lost to him when the patriarch died in the early 50's. My father lost all his belongings when he landed in Montreal 1962. His father was killed june 6 1944. A picture of him or mention in the alumni group would be wonderful. He often spoke about Portadown tech going and traveling there. Thank you for what ever time you contribute to the matter. William Robert McKee Cornwall Ontario Canada

My gran aunt Margaret Gallagher lived at 23 Alexandra Gardens Portadown and was marrried to a man called Jim Gallagher (not too sure about his christian name) He worked for Northern Ireland railways as a train driver I think. Margaret died on 12th July not (sure what year) .She was in her fifties when she died and was originally from Co. Cavan. Would love to know of any family members alive.
