IRISH WATERCOLOURIST

 Joe Hynes hails from the Cathedral City of Armagh. In 1977 he gave up working in the field of Graphic Art to dedicate himself to full-time painting. Beginning mainly with the depiction of the flora and fauna of his native land, his interest turned to the street scenes throughout Ireland and he now concentrates on portraying the interaction of people with their surroundings.

He has enjoyed huge acclaim in the field of Art Gallery exhibition and many fine examples of his painting have been published worldwide in the form of greeting cards and calendars.

His subjects now include people, places and events, with a new fond loose watery painting leaving something to the viewer's imagination, while at the same time trying to capture the magic of the moment.
