Maurice Fenton, in New Zealand supplied the following details with this e-mailed photo, Thanks again Maurice.

Jervis Street is were my mother, Dorothy Tedford, lived and where her parents had the shop shown in the photo, taken about 1947, it shows James Henry Tedford on what is Weir and Company's cart, a firm for which he did delivery work.
Jean Tedford, Georgina was her full name, ran the shop until she sold it about 1957. I have fond memories of getting behind the counter among the chocolate bars, sweets and cakes - it was heaven for my sister Heather also.
